How spots are picked
Every spot is reviewed by hand before it goes on the map. We look for cafes that serve specialty-grade coffee: traceable beans, careful roasting (their own or from respected roasters), and skilled brewing. Anyone can suggest a spot; nothing is published without approval.
How rankings work
Within each city, spots are ordered by upvotes from signed-in visitors. Each person can upvote a spot once.
What the badges mean
- In-house roaster — roasts its own coffee.
- Multi-roaster — serves beans from several guest roasters.
- Espresso, V60 / Pour-over, Batch brew — brew methods on offer.
- Light roast — focuses on lighter, origin-forward roasts.
- Single origin — offers coffees from a single farm or region.
